@slashdudeman Everyone i've ever met that is in to music has said HC. I was never aware of how many people thought HC was #1. You and that other guy (MusicListsNZ) are apparently quite the minority.
Since MusicListsNZ and I debated (he argued; I debated) I've been asking around to more people. All but 3 (I asked ~50) said HC. The other 3 all said Stairway To Heaven.

Most people don't consider Hotel California the most influential/best song of the 70's. Without a doubt it deserves to be in the top 10, but you are the first person I have ever seen who claims it to be deserved of #1. I think this video has it bang on, Imagine, stairway to Heaven and bohemian Rhapsody are the greatest songs of that decade, and Bohemian Rhapsody is the deserved winner.

90's rap? Dude 90's was by far the best decade for rock music! Without a doubt the best decade for all types of music! Much better than the 70's which is a distant second!
